UDN iPad app - another good try on reformatting paperback to digital

Recently more and more so-call traditional media try to move themselves into the digital publish area, we saw Wired, NYTimes and in local we have Chinatimes(http://news.chiinatimes.com) and United Daily News(UDN.com) made their move.

Unfortunelly IMHO the current Chinatimes and UDN mobile app all have huge room to improve till I happen to see UDN's new application on iPad, it is more interesting compare the exist UDN.com iPhone mobile app.

The IPad version app try to bring the traditional view - like paperback newspaper, with scroll and page rotation like new media, at least it is an interesting try and start point, will have more update after try it for at least 4 weeks.

Androidify - What's Google's plan behind it?

Just try the Androidify - the Google latest product on Android to make you own avater, the function is simply and bring me think about the Mii in Wii world, but Google might not only thinking about an app for create interesting avater only and share to Facebook for chat, it might bring up more like -

1. Your callerID or your friend's.
2. Your online world avater instead only stay in your phone
3. Maybe it really only for fun..
