Recently more and more so-call traditional media try to move themselves into the digital publish area, we saw Wired, NYTimes and in local we have Chinatimes(http://news.chiinatimes.com) and United Daily News(UDN.com) made their move.
Unfortunelly IMHO the current Chinatimes and UDN mobile app all have huge room to improve till I happen to see UDN's new application on iPad, it is more interesting compare the exist UDN.com iPhone mobile app.
The IPad version app try to bring the traditional view - like paperback newspaper, with scroll and page rotation like new media, at least it is an interesting try and start point, will have more update after try it for at least 4 weeks.

@Eric: unfortunately except "share on Facebook, Twitter and Plurk", nothing new, and I don't think that's the real interactive with social network.
